TEXAS BAPTIST DISASTER RELIEF TEAM
Wylie Baptist Church is proud to work with the Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief Ministry. We have a fully certified and dedicated unit of men and women who serve in disaster areas around the state and across the United States.
Opportunities are always at our doorstep. We have served in flood areas in El Paso and Jamestown, Colorado, doing Mud Out and Chainsaw Work, as well as using heavy equipment to clear roads and demolish flood ravaged buildings. Our teams have also served in tornado and flood areas in Austin, Clyde, Blanco and San Marcos. The work is always there, and men and women are always needed. You may not be able to run a chainsaw or dig out from a flood, but there is a need for those who will pray and listen as well.
To serve on the DR Unit here at Wylie Baptist Church, you must be certified through the Texas Baptist Men, and available to go.
