SUMMER OF 1923
Pastor Sam Morris and sixteen charter members establish Neill Missionary Baptist Church about four miles south of where Wylie Baptist Church stands today.
SUMMER OF 1946
The church votes to relocate to its current location and subsequently changed its name to Wylie Baptist Church. A new church building is erected.
APRIL 11, 1948
The first church service is held in the new building.
In the years following, Wylie Baptist Church has undergone several additions and renovations.
MAY 2006
Wylie Baptist Church completes the addition of new adult and children education space, office space and child development center dining room and offices.
