Sometimes we downplay certain things and think they are not as bad as they really are. A car accident, a bad day at work or school, or a surgery can be things that we downplay. Believers and nonbelievers should not downplay the reality of hell, because it is a real place of separation from God and everything good for those who reject Jesus.
