At Wylie Baptist Church, we believe in the truths of Psalm 139 — that God creates all life purposefully — and of Mark 16:15 — that we are to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.  People with disabilities are part of the whole creation, can have a personal relationship with Christ, and can have the JOY that comes with knowing Him personally.  We strive to help our friends in the Special Needs Community develop this relationship and cultivate this JOY.  Furthermore, we believe in the truths of 1 Corinthians 12:4-5:  “There are different kinds of gifts.  But it is the same Holy Spirit Who gives them.  There are different kinds of work to be done for Him.  But the work is for the same Lord.”  We strive to help our Special Needs Community identify and/or grow their unique giftings in service to the whole body (Ephesians 4:16-22) and, ultimately, to the Lord.
