Palm Sunday -- The Heart of the Gospel

John 3:14-18; Philippians 2:8-11; Romans 5:6-8; 1 John 4:9-10

Luther called John 3:16 "the heart of the Bible -- the Gospel in miniature." It's so simple a child can understand it; yet it condenses the deep truths of redemption into these few words: "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
