A Season of Seeking -- Herod

Matthew 2:1-19, 6:24; Micah 5:2; James 1:14-15; Luke 9:23; Proverbs 3:5; Romans 12:1-2, 7:15-18,24-25

We've considered those who sought Jesus for righteous reasons in response to His greatness. Now we see Herod seek Jesus for the wrong reasons. We should take an honest look at ourselves and make sure that we are seeking Jesus not for selfish reasons, but for selfless reasons, and that His character can be seen in us and through us.
