Simeon and Anna

Luke 2:22-40; Exodus 13:2; Acts 2:42,47; Isaiah 42:6, 52:10; 1 Corinthians 1:23-24; 2 Corinthians 2:16-17

After Jesus was born, Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the temple to be consecrated to God according to the Scriptures. In going to the temple they met two very devout followers of God named Simeon and Anna. These two life long followers sought the Lord wholeheartedly in amazing ways and were blessed by their faithfulness as a result.
